Comment: Those who deny God’s existence and who are paying no heed to the saving gospel of Jesus Christ, will soon be compelled by the force of circumstances in this last day to acknowledge the truth of His existence. According to a recent report, “most scientists at a time believed that our universe never had a beginning. They believed mass, space and energy had always existed. But in the early 20th century, astronomer Edwin Hubble discovered that everything in the universe, including matter, energy, space and even time itself, actually had a beginning.

However, there are still those who in spite of overwhelming scientific evidence still do not believe that the universe came about through creation. Such ones have been spiritually captured by the devil at his will. (2 Corinthians 4: 3, 4) We pray that they will realise their errors before it is too late. Howbeit, whether they believe it or not, those who oppose God and strive to undermine people’s faith in Him will in the end, come to naught. “Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth. Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna…” (Psalm 83:9-12) Moreover, God declared through Isaiah the prophet: “For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.” – Isaiah 60:12.
