GKS Celebrates Christ’s Birth Anniversary
The annual celebration of Christ’s birth anniversary by God’s Kingdom Society (GKS) – The Church of the Living God – would commence in October to mark the auspicious birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
A Press statement issued from the Church headquarters in Warri indicates that the celebration tagged “Freedom Day” would take place in Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States of America.
The event would feature seminars, discourses, musical performances and with the high point being a sermon on “Was Christ Born on Christmas Day?” There would be special thanksgiving to God by the Church members.
The GKS is an international Christian organisation established in 1934 in Lagos dedicated to the preaching the saving gospel of Christ.
