IS SAINT URHOBO ALIVE OR NOT?

IS SAINT URHOBO ALIVE OR NOT?

Hail JEHOVAH and Jesus Christ!

By virtue of his high calling as an apostle of Christ (Hebrews 9:1-3), the vessel of honour used by God to establish the God’s Kingdom Society (GKS), SAINT GIDEON MERIODERE URHOBO, as of faith and in verity, is alive in Mount Zion in Heaven.

As a partaker of the heavenly calling (Hebrews 3:1), he has put off his mortal nature and assumed the divine nature – the very body of the Almighty God known as immortality . – 1 Corinthians 15:51-54; 1 Timothy 6:15,16; 2 Peter 1:3,4.

In this age of Christ’s Second Presence, when the remnant of the saints like Saint Urhobo breathe their last, by way of death in the flesh, they are changed to Spirit immediately and off they go to heaven to reign with Christ. -Luke 22:28-30; John 14:1-3. This is the reward of the saints. They do not remain in the grave like mortal men until the day of resurrection. Their reward is instant. – 1 Corinthians 15:20-23; 2 Timothy 4:6-8; 2 Peter 1:13,14; Revelation 14:13.

Saint Urhobo is alive in heaven, therefore, it would be absolutely wrong for us in the GKS to address him as “Late Saint G. M. Urhobo”. – Luke 24:5.

No document of the Church or elders like Late President E. T. Otomewo, Late Brother B. O. Edet, Late Brother J. T. Okome, Late Brother E. A. Adedokun and other Ministers ever referred to Saint Urhobo as “late” because he is alive in Mount Zion in Heaven by the grace of God. It would be contradictory to our cherished faith in the LORD to refer to him as “late”.

In place of “late”, we use expressions such as “left us in the flesh”, “departed this world”, “when he was with us in the flesh”, “the Lord’s Anointed”, a Remnant of the Saints, etc.

Thank you!
