Theme: THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES AND YOU

Text: “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” – Ephesians 4:31, 32.

Comment: Today’s text is a guide given by Apostle Paul to the believers at Ephesus as to what is expected from them so that their services or offerings would be acceptable to God Almighty, our Father.  Unfortunately, some members lose their full blessings after celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles because they fail to settle their misunderstandings with their neighbours and do not adhere to the godly principles as stated in the text for today.  It is spiritually dangerous for people to live in bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, malice and evil speaking for years; in and out of Feast celebrations. This is contrary to our Lord’s instructions in Matthew 6:14,15, to wit: “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
