Comment: The spiritual house of God is open to the wayfaring men (Isaiah 35:6-8), and all persons of goodwill in this age of the end of the world. Having taken a stand in her, one is no longer an unbeliever; no more a stranger in God’s scheme of things. Realizing that they deal with God and Christ our Saviour, mankind is admonished to put up the best behaviour at all times; anything that answers to sin or iniquity should not come near one’s tabernacle. Saint Paul admonished Christians thus: “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” – 2 Corinthians 7:1.
